We love Quinoa and you should too! Here’s why you have to love ‘em!
Quinoa often described as a “Supergrain” or “Superfood” and it is well known to health conscious with very good reason. Quinoa is loaded with protein, fiber and minerals, and yes, its gluten free!
To all Super milaxees, here’s why Quinoa is the best;
1. Rich in Proteins
This is my favorite because it has complete protein and contains all nine essential amino acids in one! Why? Protein is made out of amino acids and some of them are termed essential because we cannot produce them. If all essential amino acid contains in a food, it is seen as a complete protein. This is highly needed for our diet plan!
2. Oh no, Migraines!
You know, that Quinoa reduces your migraines don’t you? But you should feature Quinoa in your regular weekly meal line up. Again, why? Quinoa is high in riboflavin, or vitamin B2, promoting blood vessels expansion in the brain and reduces instances of migraine headaches
3. Lower the risk of Heart Disease and Stroke
Diets rich in Quinoa, reduces risk of developing future cardiovascular conditions, such as heart disease and stroke. This food that contains high in fiber, literally combs the artery walls, which made plague disappears from the artery walls, which can eventually build up and result a heart attack or stroke
To all healthy foodies out there, why not have Quinoa as a substitute for rice?
